Aquaventure Waterpark (Dubai, UAE)
As of 2013, this Middle East water park is home to the world's widest water slide, the Middle East's longest river ride and the Middle East's longest zip line. The park's other attractions include several water coasters, a private beach and the Shark Lagoon, where visitors can hand-feed rays. The waterpark is free to guest who stay at the Atlantis resort or you can purchase tickets for a day trip to the waterpark. Don't forget to visit the aquarium while you are there and even if you aren't staying at the resort go check out the beautiful dolphin decor in the lobby.
Waterworld Waterpark (Ayia Napa, Cyprus)
Waterworld waterpark opened it's doors in 1996 and has been winning awards ever since, now boasting 25 International awards. Over 4.5 million guests have visited the park which is the largest themed waterpark in Europe and one of Cyprus's biggest attractions. With over 21 thrilling rides for all ages, the park is themed on ancient Greek mythology.
Top attractions include Chariots chase, Aeolos Whirlpool, the River Odyssey and Poseidon wave pool. Spread over 15 hectares, the waterpark features a thrilling range of 45 rides, slides and attractions. Four of the rides are one-of-a-kind that have never been seen in a waterpark.
Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi's theme is based on a legend that represents local Emirati culture and heritage.
